Growing up in the hotel business has been a comprehensive educational experience in itself, but Tony has worked extensively at the front desk, maintenance, sales and as a General Manager. Many hotels today focus training efforts on hospitality and guest service efficiency only. Tony has learned throughout the years to provide a more comprehensive sales training approach which the position calls for in today’s economy.
The front desk team faces many sales opportunities every day, which most are unaware of. Tony trains front desk service agents to: capture more walk-in business by creating the right first impression, turn dissatisfied guests into satisfied and loyal guests for the long term, up-sell during registration, increase return program guests and maintain maximum rates during tough times.
