Tammy knew early on in life that she wanted to pursue a career in accounting. From 1990 to 1995, she worked in food service management for a large international group while she earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on accounting at Portland State University. After graduating in 1995, she earned her real estate license and ran a small realty sign company.
In 1997 Tammy went to work for Taskar, Kibbee and Associates PC where she worked with Pacific Inns, LLC among other clients. During this time, Tammy specialized in accounting for clients owning multiple entities, doing anything from the most basic banking functions to maintaining complex partner schedules of distributions and returns or tax calculations. A particular achievement during this time was helping a client who owned hotels, strip malls, and real estate property grow his number of entities to over a hundred. Tammy also took restaurant accounting courses and payroll courses to better support her clients’ specialized needs.
In 2013, Tammy began working in-house with Pacific Inns, LLC on all accounting functions as well as working closely with tax firms to prepare and coordinate filings. Tammy administers all accounting functions for Pacific Inns’ various privately held properties, which includes setting up new bank accounts, book closing documents and creating company books, deposit rents and accounts payable.
